Approved DDA Services
We are approved for the following services through Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, as described below by DSHS:
Community Guides & Community Engagement Community guides services increases access to informal community support. Services are short-term and designed to develop creative, flexible and supportive community resources for individuals with developmental disabilities. Peer Mentoring Peer mentoring is a form of mentorship that takes place between a person who is living through the experiences of having a developmental disability or a family member of a person who has a developmental disability (peer mentor) and a person who is new to that experience (peer mentee). Respite in your community Short-term, intermittent relief to individuals who live with you. This service is available in the community. DDA services are for youth & and adults! Parents need a break! We recognize the sacrifice and dedication parenting requires. Why not have one of our behavioral guides help you? Our behavioral guides are fully equipped with the resources and skills to make your day/night out worry free. If you are not planning to go out, let one of our guides assist you at home.
